four years ago, Do Make Say Think briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Bobby Zincone”. This disc has all of the essential Do Make Say Think classics. Besides isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Besides is the best essence of Do Make Say Think.
Simple and heartfelt closing track closes Besides on a high note.
I can’t stop humming along Bobby Zincone. Our Man In Havana is absolutely incredible. A Week In The Dark is the albums biggest surprise.
