There is so much to love about Country - Various Artists, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This album has some very good songs like The Stranger - Bela Fleck And The Flecktones and Stingray - Andy Summers. This thirteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Country - Various Artists has. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Stingray - Andy Summers
is beautiful, yet underrated track.
Stingray - Andy Summers is probably the highlight of the album. This song stands out greatly from the others. The Frightened City - Peter Frampton - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Country - Various Artists. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Twang!: A Tribute to Hank Marvin and the Shadows couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Spring Is Nearly Here - Neil Young And Randy Bachman. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Twang!: A Tribute to Hank Marvin and the Shadows. Don’t judge The Rise And Fall Of Flingel Bunt - Hank Marvin on the first listening. The Savage - Steve Stevens the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Wonderful Land - Tony Iommi was the first single release from the album Twang!: A Tribute to Hank Marvin and the Shadows. Apache - Ritchie Blackmore catches attention immediately, Country - Various Artists allows each song to breathe and flourish.
