For older fans Singing Ranger Vol.1: the Complete Early 50’s Hank Snow (1949-1953) will put a massive smile accross your face. While no new Hank Snow album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2000 tour in Africa. After seeing the_anniversary_of_my_broken, I had to have a good Hank Snow cd. I greatly enjoyed this CD.

the_only_rose is a very catchy tune. I came to like marriage_vow. The sound of the_blind_boy’s_dog is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. the_star_spangled_waltz catches attention immediately, i_wonder_where_you_are_tonight is the astounding blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. nobody’s_child (3:22) a good melody. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Singing Ranger Vol.1: the Complete Early 50’s Hank Snow (1949-1953) is the_law_of_love. the_engineer’s_child - a classic song. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. ben_dewberry’s_final_run is marvelous song though, very addictive. Once you hear the_wreck_of_the_old_97, you will listen to it over and over. One listen to the sheer beauty of hobo_bill’s_last_ride was all I needed. If you are a Hank Snow fan, you will love one_more_ride. i_cried_but_my_tears_were_too - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. love_entered_in_the_iron_door without a doubt is the standout song of Singing Ranger Vol.1: the Complete Early 50’s Hank Snow (1949-1953). you_pass_me_by is a bit different from Hank Snow stereotypical stuff. confused_with_the_blues is one of these floating songs. (i_wished_upon)_my_little_gold is really a nice song to relax and listen too. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. your_locket_has_broken_my_hear - For me, this is the best of the album. the_golden_rocket is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. The sound in the_rhumba_boogie is really warm and Hank Snow’s signature voice is still very much present. paving_the_highway_with_tears is worth the money. with_this_ring_i_thee_wed is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. i’m_movin’_on - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem.
