Since completing 2000’s ‘The Last’, Underoath fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. After seeing The Last, I had to have a good Underoath cd. Underoath’s debut, ‘Cries Of The Past’, does not fit easily into one genre. Smart music for smart people.
In full palet of sound is used by Underoath to accentuate the presentation.
Walking Away I just LOVE this mix! Giving Up Hurts The Most (7:51) - awsome. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Cries Of The Past. Cries Of The Past has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album.
