It’s natural for 98 Mute to take a stab at ‘Slow Motion Riot’ considering her long-professed love for Depeche Mode. Since completing 2000’s ‘Slow Motion Riot’, 98 Mute fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of 98 Mute on ‘Slow Motion Riot’. If you love 98 Mute as much as I do, then 98 Mute Slow Motion Riot is the CD for you!
is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo.
Could This Be is the albums biggest surprise. Lyrics of Hit You Back are precise and evocative. Fight For Your Life is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. From the moment you listen to If We Quit you’re hooked. Send In The Clowns has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Overall a nice softer song. Judge & Jury is a very catchy tune. Crack is the album’s biggest hit, I think. I can’t stop humming along Simpler Days. After about the third Never Forget listen through, I began to believe this song is 98 Mute’s essence. You Can’t Lose - A classic 98 Mute track. Count On Me is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. You can find feelings on this piece of art. It’s Your Move - 98 Mute first major hit.
