John Digester has compared writing for The PROTEST’s new album to that on ‘From Protest To Resistance’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Self-described as Rock: Punk-Rock with lots of words, The PROTEST comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. When you buy a The PROTEST album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This is the best album I have heard in a long time
is one of the best records ever.
When listening to Realita, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Antifascist Skin is simple, dignified and effective, The PROTEST refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Protest, which shows, blatantly, how much The PROTEST has evolved as a singer. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Dobyvame Svet is just simply stunning. Dite Ulice - A classic The PROTEST track. Jamaica SKA - A nice song. Praha can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what The PROTEST is all about. You have to get essence of the Fuck The R.A.S.H.’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Voice of The PROTEST in Bulldog is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Svaty Valecnik is a song to enjoy for years to come. It’s such an underrated song. Praha is a bit of a show-tune. Osud is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. As always, The PROTEST’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Kde Ste Boli? /by Zona A /live is absolutely incredible. The PROTEST sings Modra Planeta in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. The sound in Sporadani Obcani is really warm and The PROTEST’s signature voice is still very much present.
