For older fans I Need Drugs will put a massive smile accross your face. Necro’s debut, ‘I Need Drugs’, does not fit easily into one genre. Self-described as Rap: Hip-Hop with lots of words, Necro comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. If I may, I suggest “The Most Sadistic”. That one song is amazing!
- Okay, I just talked about depth.
This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. I Need Drugs the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Your F***in Head Split still maintains something of a specific flourish. You’re Dead - For me, this is the best of the album. In Get On Your Knees Necro is at his best. All of songs on I Need Drugs and have something to say letting alone Rugged Sh*t. I’m Sick Of You is the funkiest number on the album. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. F**k You To The Track is a great opener for I Need Drugs. Burn The Groove To Death can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Necro is all about. Although Underground is very melodic it is far from sad. In S.T.D. full palet of sound is used by Necro to accentuate the presentation. WKCR 89.9 Freestyle 4/20/2000 is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. It’s such an underrated song. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor.
