38 Counts Of Battery (Best Of, Compilation) isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Pig Destroyer. There is so much to love about Pig Destroyer, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. 38 Counts Of Battery (Best Of, Compilation) is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Pig Destroyer allows each song to breathe and flourish.
In Tentacle you won’t find any flashy solos. Yellow Line Transfer is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Under The Fingernails is really the reason why I recommend buying 38 Counts Of Battery (Best Of, Compilation). Elfin - This is a very lively song. Unwitting Valentine (0:29) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Oven (Melvins Cover) is simple, dignified and effective, Pig Destroyer refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Three Second Apocalypse - Check out that bassline! Treblinka gives taste of what makes Pig Destroyer special as a musician. Fingers In The Throat is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. My Fellow Vermin very upbeat. Endgame is a good listen every once in a while. I loved One Funeral Too Many the first time I heard it. This is one hell of a track. Pig Destroyer rocks harder than ever with Honeymoon. Alcatraz Metaphors is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Flesh Upon Gear is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Pixie is excellent song though, very addictive. Lyrics of Genital Grinder - Regurgitation Of Giblets (Carcass Cover) are precise and evocative. Musically Exhume To Consume (Carcass Cover) is superior to other tracks in 38 Counts Of Battery (Best Of, Compilation). Burning Of Sodom (Dark Angel Cover) is a cool, simple song by Pig Destroyer at the top of his game. Delusional Supremacy is worth the money. I now have Alcatraz Metaphors as one of my personal favorites. Treblinka - a classic song. When I listen to Seven And Thirteen in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Scouring The Wreckage to me is the best you can get from Pig Destroyer. Torquemada is the song that really did it for me. In Frailty In Numbers Pig Destroyer spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Suicide Through Decay is probably one of Pig Destroyer’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Pig Destroyer sings his heart out in Flag Burner. This song stands out greatly from the others. Martyr To The Plague - I just love it. A unique and uplifting song. The sound of Synthetic Utopia is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Monolith is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. This song may be the most meaningful.
