Ian Anderson was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Ian Anderson and The Secret Language Of Birds together. For older fans The Secret Language Of Birds will put a massive smile accross your face. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Ian Anderson’s album The Secret Language Of Birds falls to No. 2 with 675,000, a sales slide of 67%. Another great offering from Ian Anderson.
No Ian Anderson song has come close to capturing my attention as did.
Postcard Day one is one of the better boring ones. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. I now have The Habanero Reel as one of my personal favorites. The Jasmine Corridor still maintains something of a specific flourish. In The Grip Of Stronger Stuff sets the tone for the entire album. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Ian Anderson. The Secret Language Of Birds.. - My least favorite song on this album. I think Panama Freighter is the best song Ian Anderson has ever done. Listening to The Stormont Shuffle you can hear that Ian Anderson has still amazing chemistry with band members. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Ian Anderson rocks harder than ever with The Little Flower Girl. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Ian Anderson. Don’t judge Sanctuary on the first listening. A Better Moon is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Set-Aside is simple, dignified and effective, Ian Anderson refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. The Water Carrier - I like this one.
