This album has some very good songs like Vers Les Iles Et Villes De Verre and Reves (Hunvreou). This thirteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Alan Stivell has. There is so much to love about Alan Stivell, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
- I just love it.
Reves (Hunvreou) is nothing but pure genius. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Arvor-You to me is the best you can get from Alan Stivell. I have all of Alan Stivell’s tracks and Rock Harp is probably the most his introspective effort. Overall a nice softer song. What sets Iroise apart is Alan Stivell’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. E Kreiz Hag Endro is a excellent song and it grows on you. Back To Breizh is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Back To Breizh. Alan Stivell rocks harder than ever with Brian Boru In French. This song may be the most meaningful.
