It has been fifteen years Robert Leiner’ last studio CD, “Visions Of The Past” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Lead single “Out Of Control” and “Visions Of The Past” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Visions Of The Past is an amazing album, racked with beauty.I greatly enjoyed this CD.

|titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Visions Of The Past. Interval has a fun tempo. To Places You’ve Never Been - For me, this is the best of the album. I listened to the opening track Aqua Viva and liked it a lot. Some of the arrangements found on Visions Of The Past are surprisingly edgy. Zenit is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Visions Of The Past have ended. I can’t stop playing Dream Or Reality. From Beyond And Back the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Northern Dark is a bit of a show-tune.
