This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Ataraxia. While no new Ataraxia album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1999 tour in Africa. Ataraxia was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Ataraxia and Lost Atlantis together. Another great offering from Ataraxia.
So much energy, so exciting a sound.
Daytia was the first single release from the album Lost Atlantis. Nice and different song. Dolphins is probably one of Ataraxia’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. In Agharti you won’t find any flashy solos. One listen to the sheer beauty of Fountains was all I needed. Mu-Land is a bit different from Ataraxia stereotypical stuff. Oduarpa is simple, dignified and effective, Ataraxia refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Ataraxia rocks harder than ever with Lost Atlantis. I like The Land Of Sand Of Gold Of Ruin because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. As always, Ataraxia’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again.
