Lead single “From Clarity To Insanity” and “The Scaffold Scenario” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album has some very good songs like From Clarity To Insanity and The Scaffold Scenario. Since completing 2000’s ‘From Clarity To Insanity’, Throne Of Chaos fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Exciting stuff.
One of the songs that always stick in my mind is because the melody in the chorus is so good.
The Scaffold Scenario is astounding. Cold Bits of Fire is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Bloodstained Prophecy - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Throne Of Chaos. Menace and Prayer is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Menace and Prayer couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Synthetia. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Excellent vocals and musical performances. I like the idea behind Never In A Dream. Towards Glory is a very catchy tune.
