It’s natural for Afterworld to take a stab at ‘Second Chance’ considering her long-professed love for Armin Van Buuren. While no new Afterworld album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2000 tour in South America. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Afterworld’s album Connecting Animals falls to No. 2 with 415,000, a sales slide of 68%. Connecting Animals constantly brilliant.
is a song to enjoy for years to come.
One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Promises because the melody in the chorus is so good. Tell Me Why? which is my favorite is a truly Afterworld sounding song. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Money Money Money one of the best in my collection. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Afterworld. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. The Seventh Year is simple, dignified and effective, Afterworld refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Music in Nothing to Lose is cool as in all tracks of Connecting Animals. The sound in Let It Go is really warm and Afterworld’s signature voice is still very much present. Once you hear After the Dark, you will listen to it over and over.
