For older fans Swagger will put a massive smile accross your face. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Flogging Molly energies, virtually a rebirth. Bun B. Hear has compared writing for Flogging Molly’s new album to that on ‘Swagger’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Flogging Molly ever.

Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Swagger is Selfish Man. In The Worst Day Since Yesterday you won’t find any flashy solos. Every Dog Has Its Day - A catchy, upbeat tune. Life In A Tenement Square is a exquisite sing-along. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. The Likes Of You Again which is my favorite is a truly Flogging Molly sounding song. As always, Flogging Molly’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. It’s such an underrated song. Devil’s Dance Floor is the more seemingly obscure song on Swagger that bear up best to repeated listening. I believe These Exiled Years is one of the most amazing, heartfelt songs ever written. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Far Away Boys one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard.
