While no new Bubba Sparxxx album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2000 tour in Australia. ‘Dark Days, Bright Nights’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. There is so much to love about Bubba Sparxxx, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Dark Days, Bright Nights touched my soul like nothing else.
This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Dark Days, Bright Nights.
Overall a nice softer song. In Any Porch you won’t find any flashy solos. When I listen to Bubba Talk in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Lovely is a gorgeous, simple song by Bubba Sparxxx at the top of his game. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. The song feels complete. Get Right is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. I like to sing along with Open Wide (feat. Sebastian), though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. One listen to the sheer beauty of Infected was all I needed. Twerk A Little (feat. Timbaland) - This one is lively and fun. Take’m To The Water (feat. Duddy Ken) still maintains something of a specific flourish. Music of Well Water is gentle, never overbearing. The 1st Whutchacallit is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Bubba Sparxxx. Regardless (feat. C.J.) - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Dark Days, Bright Nights. Dark Days, Bright Nights gets you up and jumping.
