Lead single “Intro” and “44 Killers (Interlude)” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. There is so much to love about Three 6 Mafia, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. After seeing Intro, I had to have a good Three 6 Mafia cd. If I may, I suggest “Intro”. That one song is amazing!
gives taste of what makes Three 6 Mafia special as a musician.
44 Killers (Interlude) is a very catchy tune. Sippin’ On Some Syrup one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. I’m So High is a medium tempo tune. Mafia Niggaz is amazing work of Three 6 Mafia. The first time I listened to Hook Up With Hoes I was struck by its gorgeous sound. From Da Back is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Fuck Ya’ll Hoes - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Tongue Ring (4:05) a good melody. When The Smoke Clears couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Barrin’ You Bitches. Three 6 Mafia allows each song to breathe and flourish. Act Like You Know Me (Point ‘em Out) is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Take A Bump is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Touched Wit It is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. M.E.M.P.H.I.S (4:52) - awsome. Three 6 Mafia offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Three 6 Mafia has astounded me with this amazing track. The sound in Put Ya Signs is really warm and Three 6 Mafia’s signature voice is still very much present. What’s Next (Outro) is a marvelous sing-along.
