Likwit Rhymes carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. On Likwit Rhymes album, Xzibit have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. There is no doubt that Xzibit has talent. This album is in perfect progression from Xzibit!
rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo.
Eyes Man Shine (feat. Mobb Deep) - For me, this is the best of the album. Focus (feat. DJ Quik and Erick Sermon) is another strong production from Xzibit. Rework The Angels (feat. Silated Peoples) is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. U Know What’s Up (feat. Donnel Jones) is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. I’ve found myself listening to You Better Belive (feat. Kinght) back to back and back many times. One Up From Da Undergraund (feat. Raskass) is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. 25 To Life (feat. Juvenile, Ja Rule, Nature) is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Likwit Rhymes have ended. Prime Time (feat. The Alkaholiks) without a doubt is the standout song of Likwit Rhymes. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Get It Up (Remix - feat. Sticky Fingaz) is a very catchy tune. A great put together song. West Coast Hip Hop (feat. Kurupt and King T) - Check out that bassline! After few listenings I started to like The Mad In Game (Madden 2000 Theme) more and more. Xzibit has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. U Can Count On Me (feat. Snoop) - This one is lively and fun. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor.
