I am not a real Indie music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Psychobilly Freakout’ really is amazing. This is the first studio album from Indie - Various Artists since bad diagnosis in 2000. This disc has all of the essential Indie - Various Artists classics. Overall, I would highly recommend Psychobilly Freakout CD.
is one of the coolest songs Indie - Various Artists has ever recorded.
Invaders (Roswell Inbaders) is one of the more up-tempo songs on Psychobilly Freakout. Just Run Away (Sgt Fury) is worth the money. Through The Devil’s Eyes (Lonesome Kings) is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Night Of The Helltrain (The Deadcats) is probably one of Indie - Various Artists’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Whore For The Devil (The Hangmen) is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Followin The Female (Meantraitors) is the most memorable and astounding. Hot Rod Bitch (Kill Van Helsig) is a good listen every once in a while. I hope to keep hearing Indie - Various Artists works for a long time to come. Indie - Various Artists is hitting on all cylinders in Switchblade 317 (Howlin Moondoggies). Raw Lust (Hellbilly Club) is the funkiest number on the album. Project X (Babe Magnets) is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Persued (Speed Crazy) actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Indie - Various Artists’s face. Werewolves (Rockland Ladies) is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Vocals of Indie - Various Artists in Rock On The Moon (Thee Waltons) really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Zombie Mutant Aliens (Bad Luck Streak) is a bit of a show-tune. After you’ve listened to My Little Sister (Granpa Candys), most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Lyrics of Dig Myself A Hole (Big John Bates) are precise and evocative. Speed Kills (Frantic Flintstones) - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Psycho (Mysterious Men In Black) is a very catchy tune.
