Now signed to mum and Sjon’s Virgin Records, the title track from second album “Motorlab 2″ leads mum and Sjon’s back-to-school campaign. Since mum and Sjon last CD (Motorlab 2) on Virgin Records back in 2000, I have felt a massive void in my life. While no new mum and Sjon album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2000 tour in Australia. I Love Motorlab 2 from start to finish!
The first time I listened to I was struck by its exquisite sound.
I listened to the opening track She Introduces Herself and liked it a lot. She Listens To Her Heart is a perfect, simple song by mum and Sjon at the top of his game. She Attempts To Say The “word” is beautiful, yet underrated track. She Begins Her Education is possibly the best song mum and Sjon has come up. Charlie Tango No 2 is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Ondula Nova very upbeat. Salmur is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. The Hamburger That I Ordered is the albums biggest surprise. After about the third Sigriour Er Ao Springa Ut listen through, I began to believe this song is mum and Sjon’s essence. Bare Feet In Broken Glass is a great opener for Motorlab 2.
