Sussan Deyhim’s debut, ‘Madman of God: Divine Love Songs of the Persian Sufi Masters’, does not fit easily into one genre. This album has some very good songs like The Candle & The Moth and Daylaman (Inextricable). This is one of the best Cd’s Sussan Deyhim has dropped to date. Smart music for smart people.
I can’t stop humming along .
Daylaman (Inextricable) the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Sussan Deyhim. Bade Saba (The Wind Of Saba) is a marvelous, simple song by Sussan Deyhim at the top of his game. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Musically Hamcho Farhad (Our Tears, Our Wine, Our Sight) is superior to other tracks in Madman of God: Divine Love Songs of the Persian Sufi Masters. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Madman of God: Divine Love Songs of the Persian Sufi Masters is Navai (Savage Bird).
