This is one of the best Cd’s The Reverend Horton Heat has dropped to date. On [2000] Spend A Night In The Box album, The Reverend Horton Heat have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. While no new The Reverend Horton Heat album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2000 tour in Australia. The Reverend Horton Heat is one of my favourite bands of all time.
This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create.
Once you hear Big D Boogie Woogie, you will listen to it over and over. Sleeper Coach Driver was the first single release from the album [2000] Spend A Night In The Box. The Girl In Blue - For me, this is the best of the album. Voice of The Reverend Horton Heat in Sue Jack Daniels is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. I hope to keep hearing The Reverend Horton Heat works for a long time to come. I’ll Make Love is a perfect, simple song by The Reverend Horton Heat at the top of his game. It Hurts Your Daddy Bad gives good insight into the truths. After about the third The Bedroom Again listen through, I began to believe this song is The Reverend Horton Heat’s essence. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Whole Lotta Baby is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. The Millionaire has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. The Reverend Horton Heat is one of artists that allow his songs like Unlucky In Love to stand on their own and be heard. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: The Party In Your Head, which shows, blatantly, how much The Reverend Horton Heat has evolved as a singer. This is one hell of a track. I can’t stop humming along Big Little Baby.
