Great Balls Of Fire (Jerry Lee Lewis) is one of my favorite songs by Rock & Roll - Various Artists. Once Ubangi Stomp (The Stray Cats) gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Song Boo Hoo Hoo Hoo (Little Richard) is actually a funny song. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Snake, Rattle And Roll (Bill Halley) had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Charming song, great melody. Limbo Rock (Chubby Checker) is almost impossible to review. In He Never Came Back (The Ventures) full palet of sound is used by Rock & Roll - Various Artists to accentuate the presentation. I like the idea behind Heartbreak Hotel (Elvis Presley). Surfin’ Usa (Beach Boys) - For me, this is the best of the album. Lucille (Little Richard) is astounding. You Never Can Tell (Chuck Berry) great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.I Love To Boogie (T. Rex) is probably the highlight of the album. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Keep A Knockin’ (Little Richard) from the beginning to the end. The song feels complete. In Hound Dog (Elvis Presley) Rock & Roll - Various Artists is at his best. So much energy, so exciting a sound.In Roll Over Beethoven (Chuck Berry) Rock & Roll - Various Artists spins a tale you want to hear to the end. See You Later Alligator (Bill Halley) is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Rock & Roll - Various Artists emotions are reflected through Rock This Town (The Stray Cats). In Baby I Don’t Care (Queen) it becomes nowhere more obvious that Rock & Roll - Various Artists has yet to define own style. Whole Lotta Shakin’ Going On (Jerry Lee Lewis) - I like this one. Johnny B. Goode (Chuck Barry) is pretty funky and mellow. I find myself hearing bits of Teenage Nervous Breakdown (Nazareth) here and there throughout my waking hours. Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey! (Little Richard) (2:05) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Best Of British Mega Mix is beautiful, yet underrated track. Hippy Hippy Shake - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Sugar And Spice is absolutely incredible. I’m Telling You Now (0:39) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. If you are a Rock & Roll - Various Artists fan, you will love When You Walk In The Room. You’ve Got Your Troubles is a bit of a show-tune. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Do You Love Me - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem.
