Lead single “Washted Up At 18″ and “Holding On” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Floorpunch was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Floorpunch and Fast Times at the Jersey Shore together. Since Floorpunch last CD (Fast Times at the Jersey Shore) on Mute Records back in 2000, I have felt a massive void in my life. If you love Floorpunch as much as I do, then Floorpunch Fast Times at the Jersey Shore is the CD for you!
Music in is amazing as in all tracks of Fast Times at the Jersey Shore.
Holding On is the perfect blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Not For Me - A nice song. Shottsie is one of the best records ever. Time To Heal is exquisite song though, very addictive. A fantastic track full of wonder. What’s Right is perfect. From the moment you listen to Change Of Heart you’re hooked. True Colors is a very catchy tune. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Music of Answer is gentle, never overbearing. Gaining Ground is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. From The Outside is one of the best records ever. Only one song from Fast Times at the Jersey Shore named Turn Away really got me. Point Of View is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Let It Ride is possibly the best song Floorpunch has come up.
