This is one of the best Cd’s Ska - Various Artists has dropped to date. The Spirit Of Ska - 10 Years is an amazing album, racked with beauty.eight years ago, Ska - Various Artists briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “New York Fever (The TOASTERS)”. Another great offering from Ska - Various Artists.
is outstanding work of Ska - Various Artists.
I came to like New York Fever (The TOASTERS). Always Friday (NAPOLEON SOLO) is the albums biggest surprise. The sound in Don’t Be So Cruel To Me (The BRACES) is really warm and Ska - Various Artists’s signature voice is still very much present. Music of Skinhead Love Affair (BAD MANNERS) is gentle, never overbearing. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Simple and heartfelt closing track King Kong (NO SPORTS) closes The Spirit Of Ska - 10 Years on a high note. It’s Not Enough For Me (The FRITS) - For me, this is the best of the album. Lost For Sure (The VENTILATORS) - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Cleopatra (YEBO) is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through The Spirit Of Ska - 10 Years. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Strong, powerful vocals of Ska - Various Artists in Big Man (Dr. RING-DING&SENIOR ALLSTARS) are very impressive. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Ska - Various Artists. Lick A Shot (BLUEKILLA) is a bit different from Ska - Various Artists stereotypical stuff. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. I have all of Ska - Various Artists’s tracks and Pidory (SPITFIRE) is probably the most his introspective effort. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Muass I Denn (LAUREL AITKEN & NO SPORTS) stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty.
