This is the first studio album from Helene Segara since bad diagnosis in 2000. Lead single “Il Y A Trop De Gens Qui T’aiment” and “Mrs Jones” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Helene Segara on ‘Il Y A Trop De Gens Qui T’aiment’. Helene Segara is one of my favourite bands of all time.
- A strong beat.
Mrs Jones is the albums biggest surprise. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Elle, Tu L’aimes is such a amazing and optimistic song that things can get just better. I like the agression and power of Parlez Moi De Nous. Sempre, Sempre - This is a very lively song. Tu Vas Me Quitter is one of the best records ever. Au Nom D’une Femme (3:40) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Tu Peux Tout Emporter. Je Te Perdrai make listening to Helene Segara like being in some sort of time warp. The sound of Dites-Moi Qui Je Suis is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. This song stands out greatly from the others.
