Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. All of songs on Burning Spear and have something to say letting alone Fire Down Below. Creation is one of the more up-tempo songs on Burning Spear. Don’t Mess With Jill still maintains something of a specific flourish. When listening to Down by the Riverside, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. This song stands out greatly from the others. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Burning Spear. Get Ready is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Journey is my favorite song on Burning Spear. Them a Come - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. He Prayed - This one is lively and fun.
