The Shadows isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. There were many famous songs of The Shadows available. This is the first studio album from The Shadows since bad diagnosis in 1999. If I may, I suggest “Shadoogie (Stereo)”. That one song is amazing!
is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after The Shadows have ended.
This song is dynamic and dramatic. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Nivram (Stereo) is my favorite song on The Shadows. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. One listen to the sheer beauty of See You In My Drums (Stereo) was all I needed. All of songs on The Shadows and have something to say letting alone All My Sorrows (Stereo). Lyrics of Stand Up and Say That (Stereo) are precise and evocative. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Find Me A Golden Street (Stereo) is one of the best records ever. The sound in Theme From A Filleted Place (Stereo) is really warm and The Shadows’s signature voice is still very much present. That’s My Desire (Stereo) stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of The Shadows. Sleepwalk (Stereo) - I like this one. Big Boy (Stereo) is a strong cut, one of many.
