When you buy a Zeke album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Since completing 2000’s ‘Let’s Get Drugs’, Zeke fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Dirty Sanchez carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This is my first Zeke Album and i must say i am blown away.
This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Zeke.
The song feels complete. Now You Die is gorgeous song though, very addictive. Drunk - For me, this is the best of the album. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Out Of Love is the astounding blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Let It Rain is a great opener for Dirty Sanchez. I Don’t Give A Fuck is one of the best records ever. Liar is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Horror At Red Hook is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Dirty Sanchez. Fucked Up City is one of the more up-tempo songs on Dirty Sanchez. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Automatic is my favorite song on Dirty Sanchez. 1999 motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. My Way - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. I believe Hidden Track is one of the most perfect, heartfelt songs ever written.
