Now signed to Mira Calix’s Mute Records, the title track from second album “One On One” leads Mira Calix’s back-to-school campaign. There were many famous songs of Mira Calix available. This album has some very good songs like MS Metro (PoolSide Mix) and Skin with Me. Mira Calix “One On One” is an amazing album.
is perfect.
Mira Calix breathes new life into the music in Skin with Me. Nostalgia is a very catchy tune. Mira Calix is hitting on all cylinders in Sparrow. Three teas please is so unique, as each one of the songs is. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Schmyk, which shows, blatantly, how much Mira Calix has evolved as a singer. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Routine (The Dancing Bear) is astounding song though, very addictive. Music of The More You Do The More You Do is gentle, never overbearing. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. DayDreaming at Night - A catchy, upbeat tune. Although Simple Friends is very melodic it is far from sad. Battery Beach is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Upiyano (3:46) - awsome. I find myself hearing bits of Afrique Du Mal here and there throughout my waking hours. Slip Sliding is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Sandsings (Remixed by Boards of Canada) (US only bonus track) - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Sandsings (US only bonus track) has a beautifully haunting disco flavor.
