If you are a Otis Redding fan, you will love Shake. Voice of Otis Redding in Mr. Pitiful is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. I Can’t Turn You Loose has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. In Pain in My Heart the music gets its power. You Left the Water Running is the first taste of the new album. My Lover’s Prayer is really the reason why I recommend buying Very Best of Otis Redding CD1. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Tramp. This is one hell of a track. That’s How Strong My Love Is is possibly the best song Otis Redding has come up. My Girl is the most memorable and cool. Musically Cigarettes and Coffee is superior to other tracks in Very Best of Otis Redding CD1. I loved It’s Growing the first time I heard it. Match Game - This is a very lively song. Nobody Knows You When You’re Down and Out - This one is lively and fun. I’m a Changed Man is one of the best records ever. Your One and Only Man is the album’s biggest hit, I think. (Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay is another favourite of mine.
