For older fans Merry Christmas Wherever You Are will put a massive smile accross your face. Lead single “I Know What I Want For Christmas” and “Old Time Christmas” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. three years ago, George Strait briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Old Time Christmas”. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on George Strait’s face.
This track is just fantastic from start to finish. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. No George Strait song has come close to capturing my attention as Jingle Bell Rock did. Merry Christmas Wherever You Are is a very catchy tune. You have to get essence of the All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. The Christmas Song is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Best song on the album, love it. Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what George Strait is all about. Lyrics of Santa’s On His Way are precise and evocative.
