It’s natural for Martina McBride to take a stab at ‘Do You Hear What I Hear’ considering her long-professed love for Gridlok. Martina McBride was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Martina McBride and White Christmas together. White Christmas carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. White Christmas is the best essence of Martina McBride.
- a classic song.
Martina McBride is one of artists that allow his songs like Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas to stand on their own and be heard. I like the idea behind Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow. O Come All Ye Faithful - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire…). O Holy Night has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Silver Bells actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Martina McBride’s face. You have to get essence of the Away In A Manger’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. White Christmas is a great opener for White Christmas. What Child Is This - A classic Martina McBride track. I’ll Be Home For Christmas - I like this one.
