five years ago, Neurosis briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “The Doorway”. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Neurosis. ‘Times Of Grace’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Unappreciated gift to Metal: Alternative
is simply marvelous.
This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Under The Surface is simply perfect. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Neurosis. This song is dynamic and dramatic. In Exist the music gets its power. End Of The Harvest has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Neurosis’s strong vocals come to the fore. Descent is Neurosis’s best work in years. I like to sing along with Away, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Times Of Grace is really a nice song to relax and listen too. The Road To Sovereignty is nothing short of a modern masterpiece.
