This is the first studio album from Today Is The Day since bad diagnosis in 2000. It’s natural for Today Is The Day to take a stab at ‘The Color Of Psychic Power’ considering her long-professed love for Godless Cruelty. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Today Is The Day. The Color Of Psychic Power and Pinnacle is really good.
is a very catchy tune.
Pinnacle is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Feel Like Makin’ Love is simple, dignified and effective, Today Is The Day refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Temple Of The Morning Star marked the continuation of Today Is The Day in style evolution. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Wicked Game from the beginning to the end. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. I like to sing along with Ripped Off (Acoustic), though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Today Is The Day rocks harder than ever with High As The Sky. Still going through Live Till You Die and coming to appreciate In The Eyes Of God more and more with every listen. Users is the funkiest number on the album. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Today Is The Day allows each song to breathe and flourish. I came to like Why Don’t We Do It In The Road. Afterlife is a good listen every once in a while. The Man Who Loved To Hurt Himself (4:21) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs.
