On the Bulgaria charts, superstar Running Wild’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Running Wild on ‘Fall Of Dorkas’. Since Running Wild last CD ([2000] Victory) on Savoy Records back in 2000, I have felt a massive void in my life. This album is in perfect progression from Running Wild!
What sets apart is Running Wild’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres.
When Time Runs Out have really caught my ear and imagination. Timeriders as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Into The Fire - A strong beat. I think Revolution (The Beatles Cover) is the best song Running Wild has ever done. The Final WaltzInstrumental is simply perfect. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. I’ve found myself listening to The Hussar back to back and back many times. In The Guardian you won’t find any flashy solos. I believe Return Of The Gods is one of the most astounding, heartfelt songs ever written. Silent Killer - For me, this is the best of the album. Victory defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. One listen to the sheer beauty of March Of The Final Battle was all I needed.
