This is the first studio album from Grave Flowers since bad diagnosis in 2000. Solace Me carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. There is so much to love about Grave Flowers, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
It’s so catchy, it’s amazing.
Mentally Exposed pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. No More Winters is nothing but pure genius. Mistful Whispering is the song that really did it for me. Voluntary Silence has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Grave Flowers’s strong vocals come to the fore. In Dayexchange Grave Flowers spins a tale you want to hear to the end. In Different Moods it becomes nowhere more obvious that Grave Flowers has yet to define own style.
