Stanley Donwood has compared writing for Moonspell’s new album to that on ‘The Butterfly Effect’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This is the first studio album from Moonspell since bad diagnosis in 1999. On the Germany charts, superstar Moonspell’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Soulsick and Butterfly Fx is really good.

Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Can’t Bee is beautiful, yet underrated track. Lustmord is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. I like to sing along with Selfabuse, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. I Am The Eternal Spectator the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. The first time I listened to Soulitary Vice I was struck by its perfect sound. Disappear Here - For me, this is the best of the album. Moonspell rocks harder than ever with Adaptables. Angelizer is such a amazing and optimistic song that things can get just better. Within the first few notes of Tired it’s perfectly clear that Moonspell is living this song. K is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through The Butterfly Effect.
