Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Electric Sulking Machine is Addictions Are Private. As always, Beyond Dawn’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. I like the idea behind Fairy Liquid. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Aage, which shows, blatantly, how much Beyond Dawn has evolved as a singer. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Cigarette is a marvelous song and it grows on you. Pacific Blue Disorder is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Hairy Liquor (Mer Kraft I Hver…) (4:14) a good melody.
