Since Robert Cray last CD (Who’s Been Talkin’) on Virgin Records back in 2000, I have felt a massive void in my life. I am not a real Blues music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Who’s Been Talkin” really is amazing. When you buy a Robert Cray album, you know exactly what you’re getting! I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Robert Cray ever.
When listening to , it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable.
Score is the more seemingly obscure song on Who’s Been Talkin’ that bear up best to repeated listening. Welfare (Turns It’s Back On You) is nothing but pure genius. That’s What I’ll Do is perfect. I’d Rather Be A Wino is one of the best records ever. This track is a great song that still never gets old. In Sleeping In The Ground it becomes nowhere more obvious that Robert Cray has yet to define own style. Robert Cray sings his heart out in I’m Gonna Forget About You. Nice As A Fool Can Be is one of these floating songs. If Your Thinkin’ What I’m Thinkin’ - Robert Cray first major hit.
