It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Pat Travers energies, virtually a rebirth. On the Lithuania charts, superstar Pat Travers’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Now signed to Pat Travers’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “BBC Radio 1 Live in Concert” leads Pat Travers’s back-to-school campaign. To me Pat Travers is the best band ever.
is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done.
Your Love Can’t Be Right is a medium tempo tune. I love the melodic melody of Life In London and to this day it makes me feel good. Born Under A Bad Sign (6:24) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. I like to sing along with Boom Boom Out Go The Lights, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Snortin’ Whiskey is a perfect song and it grows on you. Hooked On Music is a marvelous, simple song by Pat Travers at the top of his game. Music of Hammerhead is gentle, never overbearing. It Makes No Difference - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Gettin’ Betta is such a perfect and optimistic song that things can get just better. Once you hear You Don’t Love Me, you will listen to it over and over. Makin’ Magic - This one makes me want to not only sing along.
