This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Taj Mahal. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Taj Mahal energies, virtually a rebirth. When you buy a Taj Mahal album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Taj Mahal is one of my favourite bands of all time.
rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo.
Corrina on Shoutin’ In Key is solid and easy to listen to. Cruisin’ - Check out that bassline! EZ Rider is probably one of Taj Mahal’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Ev’ry Wind (In The River) (5:14) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Honkey Tonk is just simply stunning. I like the agression and power of Leavin’ Trunk. When listening to Mail Box Blues, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Rain From The Sky is a striking and quite long song. I believe Sentidos Dulce is one of the most perfect, heartfelt songs ever written. Stranger In My Own Home Town is the albums biggest surprise. The Hoochi Coochi Coo is a very catchy tune. I was truly moved when I heard Woulda Coulda Shoulda.
