This is the first studio album from Tyler Bates since bad diagnosis in 2000. Tyler Bates’s debut, ‘Get Carter’, does not fit easily into one genre. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Tyler Bates. This album is a scorcher!
Although is very melodic it is far from sad.
Main Title is a perfect sing-along. Tyler Bates has astounded me with this amazing track. Some of the arrangements found on Get Carter are surprisingly edgy. House of Cards has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Jack’s Consolation - A catchy, upbeat tune. World Upside Down is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Audrey’s Decision gets you up and jumping. Truth in Mirrors very upbeat. Let’s Take a Ride is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. The Disk is Tyler Bates’s best work in years. A Clue is a good listen every once in a while. The Note is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Only one song from Get Carter named Doreen’s Story really got me. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Finish What You Started is a excellent, simple song by Tyler Bates at the top of his game. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Cybersex is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. This track is just a stunning masterpiece.
