IF YOU LIKE ALL Jerry Goldsmith’S SONG GO FOR IT! Stanley Donwood has compared writing for Jerry Goldsmith’s new album to that on ‘The 13th Warrior’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. There is no doubt that Jerry Goldsmith has talent. This is my first Jerry Goldsmith Album and i must say i am blown away.
had me crying as I was able to relate so well.
Jerry Goldsmith has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Semantics has a fun tempo. The Great Hall I just LOVE this mix! Eaters Of The Dead is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. After you’ve listened to Viking Heads, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. The Sword Maker is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Jerry Goldsmith must have run out of lyrics on the next track The Horns Of Hell. In The Fire Dragon full palet of sound is used by Jerry Goldsmith to accentuate the presentation. Honey is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. First time I heard The Cave Of Death was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Mother Wendol’s Cave is nothing but pure genius. Underwater Escape is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. A Useful Servant is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot.
