I am not a real Ethnic music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Hafla’ really is amazing. After seeing Didi, I had to have a good Cheb Khaled cd. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Cheb Khaled. I Love Hafla from start to finish!
Within the first few notes of it’s perfectly clear that Cheb Khaled is living this song.
Opening track Sahra shows the best of Cheb Khaled. A Cha was the first single release from the album Hafla. Song Chebba is actually a funny song. Cheb Khaled must have run out of lyrics on the next track Abdel Kader. Oelli Darek is probably the highlight of the album. After about the third N’ssi N’ssi listen through, I began to believe this song is Cheb Khaled’s essence. Lillah - Cheb Khaled first major hit. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Wahrane Wahrane good vocals. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Walou Walou has a fun tempo. This track is full of harmonies and gets Hafla off to a relaxing start.
