Untoten’s debut, ‘Vampire Book’, does not fit easily into one genre. There is no doubt that Untoten has talent. This is the first studio album from Untoten since bad diagnosis in 2000. If I may, I suggest “Abdomination”. That one song is amazing!
is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside.
Bite Me (Take Me To The Limit) is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Only one song from Vampire Book named Absence Of Light really got me. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Kindertotenlied is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Darkroom is probably the highlight of the album. After few listenings I started to like Swansong more and more. In Blood Countess you won’t find any flashy solos. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. This track is full of harmonies and gets Vampire Book off to a relaxing start.
