Cuba had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This album has some very good songs like Firey Cross and Foxy’s Den. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Cuba’s album Leap Of Faith falls to No. 2 with 346,000, a sales slide of 85%. Great Trip-Hop right here!
is a romantic if not formulaic ditty.
In Foxy’s Den Cuba spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Urban Light is the most memorable and marvelous. Hail Mary is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Havana is simple, dignified and effective, Cuba refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Album opener Winter Hill is a bright, upbeat ditty. Peak Flow - A nice song. I have all of Cuba’s tracks and Starshiney is probably the most his introspective effort. Music and lyrics of King Of Kelty creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Devil’s Rock is such a marvelous and optimistic song that things can get just better. Cross The Line is a medium tempo tune.
