It’s natural for Gloria Trevi to take a stab at ‘Gatas’ considering her long-professed love for Orkrist. one years ago, Gloria Trevi briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Acera de Enfrente”. This disc has all of the essential Gloria Trevi classics. I greatly enjoyed this CD.

Acera de Enfrente marked the continuation of Gloria Trevi in style evolution. Que Voy a Hacer Sin El? is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Agarrate is a exquisite sing-along. I like the agression and power of Que Bueno Que No Fui Lady Di!. A unique and uplifting song. Pelo Suelto is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. In Zapatos Viejos Gloria Trevi is at his best. Dr. Psiquiatra is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Que Pasa en la Azotea - This is a very lively song. The opening track Que Pasa en la Azotea is very much like you would expect from other albums. The sound of No Soy Monedita de Oro is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. No Soy Monedita de Oro is a bit of a show-tune.
