Since Lard last CD (70’s Rock Must Die) on SixSteps records back in 2000, I have felt a massive void in my life. There is so much to love about Lard, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Lard was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Lard and 70’s Rock Must Die together. This is what good Rock: Pop-Rock should be.
gets you up and jumping.
Lard offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. I find myself hearing bits of Ballad Of Marshall Ledbetter here and there throughout my waking hours.
