After debuting at No. 1 last week, Morphine’s album The Night falls to No. 2 with 740,000, a sales slide of 93%. Morphine’s debut, ‘The Night’, does not fit easily into one genre. This album has some very good songs like The Night and So Many Ways. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Morphine ever.

This is probably my favorite song on the album. Morphine allows each song to breathe and flourish. Top Floor, Bottom Buzzer pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on The Night. A Good Woman Is Hard To Find stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Rope On Fire is a bit of a show-tune. I’m Yours, You’re Mine is just simply stunning. The Way We Met I just LOVE this mix! Slow Numbers is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Take Me With You is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot.
